From March 27th to 31st Circolo Surf Torbole will host the first national regatta of Italian racing season 2013, the Easter Criterium, part of Youth International Week. As it happens for Optimist class since thirty years (Optimist Easter Contest managed by Fraglia delle Vela in Riva del Garda is become a very important international regatta), ratifying an alliance among all sailing club in Northern Garda, this event likes to become a classic one on Easter holiday times.
Torbole is a worldwide well-known spot and next July, since 9th to 14th, will host a whole week dedicated to T293 class, divided into The 2013 Techno Slalom Cup on 9th and 10th, The Italian Open T293 National Championships from 11th to 13th and the first ever T293 long distance in Italy, on Sunday 14th. A prelude to 2014 T293 European Championships that will be raced in Torbole from April 22th to 27th.
During the Youth International Week, there will be joint events with Optimist Class. In Riva del Garda, at 7 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday March 27th all competitors will march past the historical centre during the opening ceremony, while in the afternoon of March 31st prizegiving and closing ceremony will be at Fraglia della Vela Riva.
All foreign competitors are welcome, but it's compulsory to pre-enter. Please send an e-mail to Italian T293 National Coordinator Marco Rossi by next Monday, March 18th with names and sailing numbers of the relevant competitors, in order to assure the best organisation.
