IFCA European Slalom Championships - a Slow Day Four
Posted On:  30/08/2014 18:39:09

Another easy morning and like yesterday we were expecting some thermal winds to show up but the wind arrived slowly and a bit late in the afternoon with a weak strength from 8 to 10 knots but later 10 to 14 knots - making everyone excited!

The AP flag went down somewhat after 3pm as the conditions seemed to be improving. The Juniors and Youths went out to try the conditions and shortly after the first heat of the day could finally start.

On the first reach after the start of Juniors/Youths Heat 5 the wind seemed too light and everyone stalled around mark 1. The competitors were being put on standby and the wind failed to show up so the day was sadly ended without any racing action.

Tomorrow is the last competition day of the IFCA European Slalom Championships.

The skippers meeting is scheduled at 11am
