Posted On:  29/09/2015 03:05:01

Two races were completed for all fleets on the first day of racing at the 2015 Asian Windsurfing Championships hosted by the Enoshima Chotto Yacht Beach Club.
Enoshima island and its surrounding waters will provide the racing environment for the championships, as it will for the 2020 Olympic Sailing Regatta, and as it has in the past at the 1964 Olympic Games.

Three classes are competing for continental titles and trophies: RSX (olympic class), Techno 293 (youth olympic class) and the new Techno 293 Plus class.

The leading sailors in each constituted division after 2 races are:
RSX Men: Leung Ho Tsun (HKG-2)
RSX Women: Ngai Wai Yan (HKG-4)
RSX Youth: Kikabhoy Rafeek (HKG-20)
T293 Junior: Alexander Lim (SIN-1)
T293 Youth: Cheng Ho Yin (HKG-36)
T293 Open Men: Mori Yuta (JPN-7772)
T293 Open Women: Kawamura Mao (JPN-2017)
T293 Plus: Iwasaki Yuta (JPN-170)
