A light Mediterranean breeze, changes within the rankings and lots of emotions and drama on the final competition day. Great back to back final races for the men's gold and silver fleets and the women's final race, followed by the Medal races which included the top 10 competitors challenging each other, for the last time in the great show off, in front of the Limassol Nautical Sailing Club in Limassol, Cyprus.
Another great Championship event has come to an end for the International RS:X Olympic Windsurfing Class. After a week of interesting sailing in conditions that varied, from strong winds to light wind at the end of the week, making this World Championship a pretty interesting and emotional one for all involved.
Congratulations to all Youth competitors who participated in the World Championship and last but not least the new RS:X Youth World Champions: Katy Spychakov and Yoav Omer who proudly defended his World Champion title.
