Action and Suspense on the Red Sea
Posted On:  01/12/2017 09:07:40

For the Techno 293 women, nine races so far sees Algerian Ait Ali Slimane in the lead, but her Egyptian rival El Ashwany is on fire, just two points behind.  Three races to go and it will be a tough battle to the end. Watch this space!

In the RS:X, the lead had been alternating between Seychelles' Gardette and Algeria's Bouras during the first 2 days, but now Bouras is clear by 3.4 points going into the last three races.

For the Techno men there is no doubt that the winner will be an Algerian but it is still an open race between Brighet and Bennaga, with just 2 points separating them. Fellow Algerian Boudrouma is sure to take the third place on the podium, just three points behind.

It is the second qualifying position for the Youth Olympic games that is still close between Tunisia's Bouaskar and Egypt's El Laban

Today the wind went from 9 to 19 Knots. Tomorrow 2 races are programmed - the sun and wind are sure to be present.
