Pacasmayo is considered one of the the longest left waves in the world and more solid wind spots of South America. Windsurfers, Kitesurfers, Stand Up Paddle Surfers and Longboarders are arriving to this first edition of this classic in SOUTH AMERICA. There are people arriving from Colombia, Italy, France, Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Peru confirmed at this moment and we have here lots of international media including ESPN.
The event will start on Wednesday with Kitesurfing competition. Guilly Brandao, kite world champion is already training here for the event. On Thursday starts the Windsurfing Competition and Actual Wavesailing South American Champion and Vice South American Champions are also here – Andres Tobar and Ricardo Guglielmino. That day will also start the competition in the new sport called Stand Up Paddle surfing and on Saturday, all longboarders will join for the Longboarding competition. Prize giving will have lots of prizes including 3000 USD cash, plus boards, sails, wetsuits and many other accessories.
