In the girls fleet Siripon Kaewduang-Ngam (THA) had another great day, recording two 1st places, moving her further ahead of her nearest rivals. The chasing pack includes Naomi Cohen (ISR), Veronica Fanciulli (ITA) and Valentina Serigos (ARG) – all three girls finishing with 38 points! And not far behind is Lara Lagoa (ESP) who continues her climb through the rankings with a mere 5 pts added from todays races.
Tomorrow is the Medal Race – the final race of the series to decide the podium positions. So it’s an early night’s sleep for the whole fleet tonight as they prepare for the final medal race tommorrow which involves all competitors. Nobody can drop the medal race result so it’s all to play for. Check out the results section which will be updated as soon as full results are published

Naomi’s 2nd place in race 7 keeps her in contention for a medal, despite a disappointing 8th in race 8 ! However sailor of the day was Veronica Fanciulli (ITA) with a 3rd and 2nd to boost her fight back after her OCS in race 6.
Congratulations to the ARG team – the only team to record a top 5 finish in both boys and girls races today.
