Today has been amazing! Four races in great wind conditions – between 17 and 22 knots for the first two races, 20 to 26 knots for the second two. Plenty of adrenalin [more]was pumping on the course and the sea was a wonderful colour with the most incredible backdrop – perfection!
4 straight wins for Paulo Dos Reis (BRA 3333) but only 2 points separate the next 3 racers – Pablo Ania Barachina (ESP 16), current champion Nicolas Schreier (PER2), and first master Marcello Morrone (BRA 3). This is super competitive!
In 7th place overall is 1st youth Gabriel Basto Pereira (BRA 127), second youth Matias Canseco (PER 99) is only two points behind him.
First in the women’s division is Bruna Mello (BRA 49) ahead of Peruvians Josefina Roder, Alexandra Vernal and Valeria Guevara – competition is keen between these three.
4 straight wins also for 14 year old Alessio Botteri (PER 20) in the FE Junior Fleet. In the chasing pack, all on equal points, and with international flavour – Lars Van Someren (NED800) and Mario Flores (MEX50); but Juan Pedro Meier (PER19) has the edge on the tie.
