The Foiling Discipline was first to hit the water at the 2017 IFCA Grand Prix Series Premier in Neusiedl am See, Austria. After 2 back-to-back races the conditions became unsuitable to continue and both foil and slalom sailors were released for the day due to the poor conditions.

Competitions: “It was fun and I enjoyed the first 2 heats in my first Hydro foiling competition.”
Tonight: “I am going to bed early as we have an early start for the Slalom races tomorrow.”

Tomorrow: “I look forward to compete in the slalom races, it will be my first time racing in Austria and I will give my best. I have competed on several IFCA events before, but its always interesting with the Class Racing Rules.”
Tomorrow (Saturday) skippers meeting is scheduled for 07:30, an early start for the slalom competitors with better winds predicted for the first few hours of the second competition day.
