Whilst the early forecast wasn’t particularly good, the conditions created a real spectacle from the beach with fast tactical racing, wipeouts and crashes – one unfortunately resulting in Denis Littel having to have hospital treatment on his knee.
A very good day for some – notably Micah Buzianis took the bullet in race 9 and Wojtek Brzozowski came second in the last race – and not so good for others. You have to smile at Sean’s report:

Antoine is firmly established at the top after 7 races with Paolo dos Reis in second and Arnon Dagan in third. No racing on day three because of the poor weather conditions but an interesting AGM.

After three races on day one, Antoine tops the leaderboard with two bullets and a third, Jesper Vestrom is second and Arnon Dagon, who took the second race, is in third. However, it is anybody’s competition at this stage and once discards come into play the scoreboard could look very different – Paolo dos Reis came second in two of the races but is currently carrying a 12th for the first race.
