The 2014 North Americans for RS:X and Techno 293 classes will be hosted in Cancun, Quintana Roo state, Mexico, from 20th to 23rd February.[more]
Organised by the Mexican Windsurfing Association, from Puerto Cancun Marina, this championship makes a welcome return to Mexico, where windsurfing has been developing steadily since the last visit in 2011.
The event has extra significance for the RS:X and T293 classes as it is a qualifier for nations in two major Games:
- For RS:X entries nations will be able to qualify for the 2015 Pan-American Games to be held in Toronto
- For T293 entries nations will be able to qualify for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games to be held in Nanjing, China
