Just 70 days until the 2018 Techno 293 European Championships to be hosted by the Nautical Athletic Club Vari, Varkiza near Athens, Greece, from 20th to 27th October.
Varkiza, is a district of Vari in the Attica region. In 1968 it was renamed Alianthos, but the oldest name (Varkiza) is still in use. It belongs administratively to the municipality of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni. [more] It is a seaside settlement of Attica and is located 25 km south of the center of Athens. It is built on the Saronian coast and is a famous tourist resort. The location of the settlement is one of the most expensive areas in Greece.

It has an area of 2500m2, 210 members, and about 200 athletes. It is a recognized Athletic club from the Greek General Secretariat of Sports and member of the Hellenic Sailing Federation (H.S.F.).
