Alaçatı is in full preparation to host the highlight event of the slalom windsurfing season as international athletes gather for the prestigious World Sailing-recognized titles in both Fin and Foil disciplines.
As the summer reaches its peak, so does the anticipation for one of the biggest events in the slalom windsurfing calendar: the 2025 IFCA Grand Slam Fin & Foil Slalom World Championships, set to take place from August 12 to 18 in Alaçatı, Turkey. This Major Class Event will bring together over 150 registered athletes from across the globe to compete for 10 World Titles in various age and equipment divisions.
A Strong Start to the Season
This year’s IFCA season kicked off in Viganj, Croatia with an exhilarating European Championship event in July. With over 80 athletes competing across five days of racing in the laid-back setting of the Pelješac Peninsula, the event left participants with lasting memories and positive vibes. The competition concluded with the successful crowning of the new European Champions in Fin and Foil Slalom. SEE EVENT PAGE
