Day 2 of the Brasil Open Windsurf 2026
The second day of competition at the Brasil Open Windsurf 2026 energized the waters of Lagoa de Araruama (RJ) this Thursday, with wind and sunshine providing excellent conditions for the races.
In total, 12 races were held, involving all the event’s disciplines. Athletes from 14 Brazilian states and 5 nationalities took part in the competition, demonstrating a high technical level and great competitiveness.
Variations in wind intensity caused changes in the rankings throughout the day, keeping the fight for the title completely open. The event champions will be decided on Saturday, the final day of competition.
In addition to the races, the event promotes integration among athletes, environmental awareness and cultural exchange between representatives of national and international windsurfing.
The championship also features live streaming and a cultural program including performances by Brazilian bands at the end of each day.
Anyone in the region can follow the event in person until the competitions conclude.
