3 “Regatta” racers on the menu for the last day of competition with 8 knots of breeze required tactical and physical skills.
The drama came from the women’s fleet. Taina Postec had led the whole week of racing but lost her first place under the attack of Louise Lebars who claimed the 2016 European title at the end of the day. Taina had to settle for second place and Capucine Marsaudon finished third.[more]

In the Men’s fleet, Jolivet Maxence took the 3rd place, Maxime Abiven finished second and Florian Salette becomes the European Champion.
We are now looking forward to seeing how Louise Lebars and Florian Salette will represent France at the World Championships in Taiwan!
The European Champions will be invited full expenses paid to the 2016 RS:One World Championships to be held in the World Class city of Penghu (TAIWAN) from the 26th September till 1st October.
