Two races were contested in idyllic conditions: between 12 and 13 knots from the north-east under a bright sun.

Wednesday’s weather was the best since the beginning of the week, even though the wind was more complicated: the gusts were not easy to see and the competitors had to adapt constantly.
Not a good day for Tom Monnet who stumbles right off the u17 boys podium, the top position now occupied by Yoav Cohen from Sdot Yam, Israel. Maxim Tokarev from Russia has moved up 4 places into second, sharing equal points with Kensei Ikeda from Japan. With three days left, all to play for.
u17 girl Lucie Pianazza from Rochelle has won all 7 races from the first day. “The weather Tuesday and Wednesday is what I prefer when there was 12/13 knots. I feel pretty confident because I’ve won even without wind, that is to say, under conditions where I’m not at my best.”
Over three days, competitors have experienced varied weather conditions, allowing them to test their skills in very different contexts.
On Monday, the first day of racing, it was not ideal weather – the wind proved light, very unstable, unpredictable and organization of races was not an easy task! In addition, many general recalls does not motivate the troops! But at the end of the day one complete round for all 400 competitors.
The second and third days were classic North-East winds and respectively three and two races sailed for each category, with an extra one for the T293+ men and women and also for the u17 girls: the fatigue probably showed on their faces.
