On 26 and 27 August 2013, more than a hundred kiteboarders and windsurfers will shake the Aegean Sea up. Getting a start at Alacati Cark Beach, kiteboarders and windsurfers will turn back off Chios, Greece, and arrive in the finish line back in Alacati. [more]

While racing with their competitors in their own discipline, the kiteboarders and windsurfers will also do their best to get the upper hand over competitors in a different discipline, thereby waging a contest which is unique in the world. The wind, which is an essential component of both branches of sports, will drive things harder this time.

During Red Bull Aegean Cross where athletes would compete not only in their own category but also in an interdisciplinary way, the north winds commanding Cesme will test mastery and strength of individual racers. Reaching up to 40 knots from time to time, north-north-west and north-east winds will challenge the kiteboarders and windsurfers who must both high physical and mental strength. The kiteboarders and windsurfers with a dedication to win the 60 Km long racing-track will face challenging wind and natural conditions right after going beyond the bay.
