The organizers have gone to great lengths to ensure that both athletes and spectators have an unforgettable experience. An event site has been set up along the beach, offering an ideal spot for fans to follow the action and results live. The focus has been on creating a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring that everyone, from seasoned athletes to casual observers, feels at home.
For the first time in many years, competitors of all age groups will participate in a unified event, adding to the sense of friendship and competition. Hvide Sande’s varied wind conditions, ranging from gentle breezes to powerful storms, promise to challenge the skills of the racers and provide thrilling spectacles for the audience. The local organizing team is dedicated to making sure that everyone enjoys their time at the championship, whether on or off the water.
Adding a meaningful touch to the event, the World Championship medals have been specially crafted by OMHU, a sustainable brand committed to environmental stewardship. The company, based in Hvide Sande, has produced these unique medals from over 25,000 kilograms of garbage collected from beaches. Each medal tells a story, representing not just a victory in the sport but also a contribution to cleaner oceans.
OMHU, known for its range of eco-friendly products such as key chains, earrings, bracelets, and dog leashes, is proud to present these medals. Each one is a symbol of both achievement and environmental consciousness, showcasing the brand’s dedication to sustainability. Recipients of these medals will carry with them a piece of Hvide Sande’s commitment to protecting the planet.
As the countdown to the championship begins, excitement is building for what promises to be an extraordinary event, blending high-level competition with a strong sense of community and environmental responsibility.
