After three rounds, it is Matteo Iachino ITA 140 who is at the top of the leaderboard [more]with 2, 1, 12; Arnon Dagan is second with a 1, 8, 3 and Bora Kozanaglu third with a 7, 2, 2. These guys really need some more races as each has a round they could really do without!
“Today I made a big mistake and crossed the line from the wrong side. There was another boat above and below the red finish buoy so that confused me. And tomorrow seems no wind and this mistake caused me to lose the title (maybe).” A good tip for youngsters: “read notice board carefully not to make mistakes like this.” Bora Kozanoglu
After 6 rounds, Karin Jaggi is firmly at the top of the ladies fleet with four bullets to count after two discards. Delphine Cousin, her closest rival, has two bullets and two second places to count.
Marianne Kaplas and Lena Aylin Erdil both have 15 points but the tie is split in favour of Marianne now in third place.

Day two was a nice sunny day and thermic breezes were expected. 10-15 knots filled in from the north before changing to the expected direction but there was not enough for racing.
Day one saw four races completed for the women. Delphine Cousin (FRA 775) took the first win but then Karin Jaggi (SUI 14) found form and took the next three wins. Marianne Kaplas (FIN 13) took a couple of second places and sits in third place. [more]
The men have completed one round and Arnon Dagan (ISR 1) is at the top of the leaderboard, followed by Matteo Iachino (ITA 140) in second and Maciek Rutkowski (POL 23) in third place. The 20-25 knots offshore winds dropped before the men could complete the final in round two.

10 women registered for the Women’s Slalom Worlds, and 47 men for the Slalom Europeans in the Gulf of Roses
10 European countries are represented and competition should be intense with a good number of the world’s best ranked IFCA slalom competitors on the men’s entry list.
The women’s fleet is relatively small for the Women’s World championship title, but nevertheless this competition has also attracted some of the best.
