Dear Speed competitors,
2023 will see the return of the ISWC Speed world championships. Returning after some years due to covid and being let down in Fuerteventura last year by local politics. The event will be held in La Palme, Aude Occitanie in the Cote du Midi from 21st to 30th April 2023 and will be organised by the POS team headed by Principe Baldini.
It is a fantastic venue which has delivered many national and world records over the years. There will be Prize money of €15,000 plus other prizes for different categories and of course world titles to win. Full details areavailable in the Notice of Race.
There will be limited spaces and initially it will be on a 1st come 1st served basis if oversubscribed then entry will be decided by official speed rankings then GPS rankings. So please get your entry in asap and pay your annual ISWC membership to be able to take part and vote on the ISWC AGM which will take place at the event. This is your chance to take part in the Official ISWC speed world championship and have your say on how speed competition should be governed and run in the future.
