Artemis, Athens – Greece | 11–17 October 2025

The 2025 Windsurfer World Championships concluded successfully at the Athens Nautical Club, bringing together sailors from across the world for a week of intense and enjoyable racing in a truly iconic location. Over the course of the championship, the full schedule was completed — eight course races, the traditional long-distance marathon, and a full round of slalom — offering a complete test of sailing skill and versatility.

Conditions varied throughout the week, ranging from light 5-knot breezes to strong winds exceeding 20 knots, providing an excellent balance of tactical and physical racing. The venue delivered spectacular scenery, with races unfolding against a magical backdrop of Greek scenery. The atmosphere ashore was equally special — friendly, relaxed, and full of the camaraderie that has always defined the Windsurfer Class.

The organisers and volunteers of the Athens Nautical Club ensured a perfectly executed event, both on and off the water, supported by an efficient race committee and a welcoming local community.
