Having made the most of Wednesday’s conditions, Thursday was back to fickle light winds, competitors held on postponement hoping for a stronger breeze but with no luck. Nothing for it but to declare Janis Preiss, LAT-23, the 2019 Formula Windsurfing World Champion.
Miguel Martinho POR-5 took a well-deserved second place. Estonians Martin Ervin and John Kaju fought hard for the final place on the Podium, finishing on equal points, but it was Martin Ervin EST-202 who stepped up to claim the third place trophy.
