The first day of the championship was marked by excellent racing for the foiling divisions of Junior and Youth competitors, with all available wind utilized to its fullest, much to the satisfaction of the coaches and participants.
The opening day of the 2024 IFCA JYM Slalom European Championships began with light winds around noon. As the wind gradually picked up, the first race commenced at 13:20. Initially, the conditions were ideal for foiling due to the available wind conditions, thus a decision was made to start with foil races.
